I'll be the first one to say I'm not even in the ballpark of Granger just yet. Lord willing, I'll get there (in the ballpark) one of these days.

Grayson is the best player I ever saw play at the 6-man level. When he moved up in competition to 3A Columbus, his detractors stated that he wouldn't dominate at that level as he had in 6-man. How wrong they were. In the state finals against Jayton in basketball, a Jayton defender fell to the floor. Although he could've taken advantage of that (and most players would), he stopped and helped the player to his feet. That is who he is. His attributes as a person combined with a strong work ethic and a God given talent, make this young man a force to be reckoned with. I liked the comparison to Wes Welker. I have considered that myself. Whatever this young man does in life, whether it be on the field or off of it, he is going to succeed. Columbus got themselves quite a talent to add to their powerhouse group of young men.

I've given the Welker comparison numerous times. Literally that is the best comparison. I also think that Tech will start opening up more and start going after him. I've talked to many former Tech players and some former coaches and they think he is legit and his rating is way underrated. So good things are happening for this young man and I hope he continues to show out and prove he's no joke. He has the work ethic to where the sky is the limit.
Do you not think he needs to get bigger before a power 5 considers him ? The kid is doing great ain’t knocking that . Let me ask you this . Why hasn’t tech offered him ? We been hearing about tech for the last year .

Agree, don’t see a Big 12 getting him. Kid will end up in the SEC if his numbers continue like the first 3 games. He is the real deal. Generational and him and his family made a fabulous decision going to 11 man. The reason why Tech didn’t offer before is the same as so many others. Impressive kid, numbers, stats, work ethic but they just don’t look that hard at 6 man players. There is literally dozens of kids that put up phenomenal stats every Friday night and they are not D1 potential players. So when one like GR comes along he gets overlooked or not given as much consideration as he deserves because he plays 6 man. A game where kids run and pass for hundreds of yards and score 5 or 6 TDs a game. It’s just the way I see it and I’m a big time 6man fan. Now I’m not sure there has ever been a GR but I’m sure there have been kids not reach their potential after high school due to playing 6-man. Please don’t start hating it’s just an opinion.
Maybe. Nobody knows that yet. Thus far he seems like worth looking at for several teams.

Yes talking. He very well may end up there, maybe not. The kid had a 3 star rating prior to Senior year at the 6-man level. IF his season continues like the first 4 games will his rating go up? I would say most definitely. Do you not believe it’s possible? Your Oh boy response makes it sound like it is out of the realm of possibility. I just find the young man’s talent fascinating (football and basketball). One of the Nations leading scorers in basketball? That is kinda big time! I suppose because he came from the 6man ranks I have become a very supporting fan. I wish him the best and can’t wait to see how it plays out.
I believe the kid will go d 1 absolutely but no I do not believe there is a shot at the sec one bit . That’s a different kind of ball ! I hope he proves me wrong cause that would be cool
At least you’re buying the SEC/ESPN hype. There are certainly some dominant teams in the SEC but all but about 3 are nothing special. They promote only the SEC and the B1G and it is 100% about money. If Grayson is as talented as he appears to be he can play anywhere though prior to the success of Welker, Amendola, Edelman, et al he would’ve probably been overlooked as they were.

I'm really proud for this young man. He deserves all of the accolades he receives. Those are some dominating stats no matter what level.
