I'm not sure what elephant was in the room either....I do know May didn't blow them out that's true...I also know Strawn was picked to win by 21... Maybe that's the elephant? So if you take the spread points plus the points May beat them by, that's a swing of 35 points....so no May didn't blow them out...but last I heard doesn't matter the amount you win by just matters the win.....or maybe the elephant was Strawn was ranked 5 in DI...I'm confused.

I wouldn't count strawn out. I hear their qb has been out for a while with an injury. They did get beat, but Nowack will make a difference I feel like. Ready to hear how the Strawn Gordon rivalry game goes this week though!!!

The elephant is a hand. Hopefully Coach Lee won't berate me next time I see him. The bag's been off the cat for weeks, reported in the Mineral Wells index. I figure the last 3 opponents knew in advance. I'm sure Gordon knows. The hand belongs to a last year all state spread back and this year's runner up DCTF cover boy Harrison Nowak. It's his throwing hand. Excuses are cheap, there are none in football. Strawn beat ranked Knox City and others without him. There a damn good team with or without him. Last year state finalist May beat them by 12 with him playing one handed. They're still a damn good football team, without him, one handed or healthy.

May lost two starters before we even played water Valley, Throckmorton , Strawn, Gustine, and they continue to get better, and stronger each week. May has only lost 1 time to a D1 school in the last two years, Crowell. Until they get beat they are the beast of the East.

I definitely agree th Strawn is a very good team. With saying that they will also be glad when Nowak is back to %100. That is, if they are able to get past Gordon and stay alive long enough for him to get back.
