If you don't one questionable play to determine your season and you're the best team.. I'd say just be further ahead on the scoreboardAsk @Zebra Watcher since he's an actual Zebra
I don't disagree with you on that.If you don't one questionable play to determine your season and you're the best team.. I'd say just be further ahead on the scoreboard
I agree, mistakes are made, Miami made their share too during the game. It happens, They just acknowledged their mistake. The UIL makes more than their share of big screwups, but this wasn’t anything for them to apologize for.
You are correct! This kick was actually made with over 3 minutes left on the clock. Happy would have taken a totally different approach during those minutes if they were behind. Who knows how the game would have ended then. They could have beat miami by 6 with no overtime. If you don't one questionable play to determine your season and you're the best team.. why? The rule is black and white. It’s not a safety.Ask @Zebra Watcher since he's an actual Zebra
A safety should have been awarded to yall because the action the Happy player of either batting the ball or trying to pick one handed caused the ball to go into the endzone willfully.why? The rule is black and white. It’s not a safety.
Watch out for Follett next year especially with the move to D2The two games between Follett and Happy were pretty good. Happy won the regular season game 46-42 and the bi-district game 36-30. Both teams gave it everything they had.
.
Can you show us that rule?A safety should have been awarded to yall because the action the Happy player of either batting the ball or trying to pick one handed caused the ball to go into the endzone willfully.
And just to be clear, I don’t care who won the game or why. I am not a fan of either school. My only goal is to help you understand the actual rule so you can stop making things up.A safety should have been awarded to yall because the action the Happy player of either batting the ball or trying to pick one handed caused the ball to go into the endzone willfully.
The initial punt by Miami punter strikes the ground and continues to bounce and roll down the field (Miami is responsible for where the ball goes at this point) . As seen on film, the Happy player bats or attempts to grasp the ball while making contact with ball (changed which team was responsible for the ball's direction or impetus) which leads to the ball crossing into Happy's end zone where the Happy player recovered ball but is tackled in his end zone. As a result, a safety would be the correct call. Can you show us that rule?

Eff me then. I stand corrected.No. NCAA Rules. Texas is one of few states that its high school football governing bodies (U.I.L., TAPPS, TCAL, etc) follows NCAA and not Federation Rules.
No problem.Eff me then. I stand corrected.
So, with enough XP's Newcastle might be state champ's?Agree. Extra points decided the game.
