Buckholts will be very competitive, as will Oglesby; but I still think Calvert, Jonesboro and Richland Springs will have something to say about the best in Region 4.

I'm clueless on what everyone in my new district has coming back. I know there's been a ton graduate, but no clue what was behind them. We'll find out real early where Mt. Calm is, as we've got Calvert and Buckholts in the first scrimmage, and Coolidge and possibly Oakwood in the second. Have film on Karnack, Oakwood and Fannindel, but still have nothing on Trinidad. Going to be a fun year!! Tons of opportunities for tons of schools.

B-town will be in its finest hour......back in the district saddle with calvert again and looking for that first win against them. Goodluck to both.

What I can't figure out is why the UIL did'nt put Oglesby in with District 16 instead of District 14, that way all the districts would have been balanced.

District 13 - 5 teams
Distict 14 - 6 teams
District 15 - 5 teams
district 16 - 4 teams

In my personal opinion, I think Richland Springs would have won a title in D1 in 2010 and 2011.. I think they scrimmaged throck one of those years and smacked them, but then again that was a scrimmage. Either way, you cannot say the d2 Richland springs from a couple years ago would not make a deep run in d1
