Throckmorton vs. Richland Springs

I heard the other day from a pretty good source that the greyhounds and the coyotes are going to square off in a scrimmage this Friday night down at Richland Springs. The offense of Mike Reed going up against the defense of Jerry Burkhart again. I know it is only a scrimmage, but who can forget the great games they had when Coach Reed was at Rule. It may still be 107 degrees on Friday afternoon, and the air conditioner in my old truck went out a few years ago, but I hope to head that way and see how it turns out. Sounds like fun don't it!

It has been reported that the "score" was 6-1 with RS coming out on top. I was at the scrimmage but really don't pay much attention to scores. I can say there was plenty of good contact and all 3 teams got some good work in.
