Tapps favs so far?

There are at least two teams from the North that merit consideration. Lubbock Kingdom Prep has only 1 loss to Div.II Abilene Christian by 1 point. They have run ruled most if not all of their other games. Then there is Wichita Christian who remains undefeated and has also run ruled nearly every team they have played. It is a shame these two will have to meet in the second round game. Either of those teams could well win the State Championship and the other has to hang up the pads after the second round.
I’ll agree with this. I lean toward Wichita Falls to come out on top in the North.

It's been like that for the last few years. The "state game" most recently has been happening in the North in round 2 or 3. Last year, it was Prestonwood vs. Nazarene in round 3 that really decided the winner, as Prestonwood ended up 45'ing Baytown in the finals.

I’ll say after this weekend we will have:

D1
Mid Tri vs PoP
Deo vs Pflugerville

Emory vs Castle Hills
Westbury vs Pasadena

D2
Crowley vs Prestonwood
FW Cov vs Rockwall

MF faith vs Bryan Allen
Huntsville vs San Marcos

D3
KPA vs Wichita
Longview H vs Waco Valor

Freddy vs Lake Jackson
Miss City vs St Jo’s

I’ll agree with all of these except I think Abilene beats Rockwall.

If Rockwall shuts down Abilene’s rushing game, they will struggle passing. But that rushing game is pretty potent. It sounds like Rockwall may be much the same, so we may have a high scoring one.
