Which Six-Man school has the best chance for being State Champions in football and basketball this school year?
That is where GR will be.

I'm pretty sure it was determined that Gordon & Grayson or Grayson & Gordon would not be a good fit when Rigdons left Strawn, after Strawn's 2021 State Championship Win..

I was just responding to DOWNBOX'S hypothetical question.

Gordon in DI Jayton in DII football. With GR almost guaranteed.
Pretty sure Coach Rigdon would never receive a job offer at either one of those schools. I would personally love to see Rigdon play at a D1 school this year and go against Gordon at some point this season. That would be a game to watch! Rigdon won't play anywhere that doesn't already have 2-3 other key players on the roster, and would probably have a run deep in the playoffs without him.

Gordon 45d every team last year. Can Grayson make up 45 points on any team in D1? I don't think so. He wins a D1 state championship at Gordon or he doesn't win a D1 state championship. Might as well stay at D2. Plenty of teams he can go to to compete there.

That's my point, he won't go D1 if he doesn't have a shot at state. The team would have to be a 3 round caliber team already with out him, and any team meeting Gordon is hitting a wall in playoffs. It would just be nice to see him play Gordon because the argument will be the same as last season, who's better the D1 champs or the D2 champs. I know it will never happen.

If Air Force One is playing at Strawn, then he will play the Gordon Longhorns on September 13 at 7:30 pm at Strawn. Someone would surely be tackled in that game. Of course, for bragging rights only.
