Rigdon????

Why are so many people getting obsessed over a person that plays a good football? Deal with it he's in 11 man now
My response to that is…why does it bother you? So what some of us 6 man football fans, are happy to see one of the best to ever do it on a sixman field, who countless people said couldn’t do it on a crowed field, doing it on a crowed field. And not just doing it, but doing it at the same level he did and getting National D1 college attention for doing it. It’s easy to scroll past an entire thread you aren’t interested in, I do it all the time on here, as do others I’m sure. There’s stuff others post and care about that lots of people interact with and have interest in that I, personally, care nothing about…and I just scroll right past the entire thread without it ever bothering me whatsoever. It’s really easy to do, just saying.

I saw on twitter he is planning on making his choice of college on Monday the 25th. I’m curious does anyone know why he de-committed to Air Force ?

Also a commitment to Air Force to play football would involve years of service after football was done.
I'm not 100% sure but I'd also think that NIL would not be a thing at service academies, neither would the transfer portal if he wasn't happy there. (I guess technically it could be an option, but I know if you voluntarily leave you have to pay the cost of your education back, and it is not cheap.)

For the record Grayson Rigdon set two Career State Title Game records and tied one single state game record

Most Career Rushing Yrads in State Title Game: 740 yards (3 games played)
Most Career TDs Scored in State Title Games: 17 (3 games)

Longest TD Run in a State Title Game: tied with several- 79 yards (2021 vs Motley Co)
Correction 2021*

Grayson has officially committed to NC State! This is a big deal for six-man football, despite what the haters might say. Assuming Grayson succeeds, and I'm sure he will, this could get more eyes on other six-man athletes who could compete at the DI level in college.

Grayson, congratulations! I wish you nothing but the best, young man!

Not to be rude or anything but I mean come on it's NC State but then again Grayson did carry Benjamin even though Keagan Hayes helped a bit as well to 2 state championships and won

If he keeps rolling like he has I bet he hits the transfer portal in his second year and ends up somewhere in the sec or big 12.

I think any kid from any level of high school being offered a chance to keep playing a game they love AND receive a free education from the next levels is freaking outstanding. The number of high school kids playing football and the number of kids getting scholarships is drastically different. I forget I’m sure someone will look it up but it’s something like one miliion high school football players across the nation and only 81k play at any college level. That drops to like 2k including practice squads playing pro football. So yea I’d say a kid from lowest level of high school football in Texas signing any D1 scholarship is worth the recognition. Now back to sixman.

Now that the ncaa has put new roster limits on all college sports, I believe the football new limit is 105 kids and the average team currently has 128 so it’s going to be even harder to get on a college team.
