Richland Springs: The Tradition

It's great to be a fan of your hometown football team but the reality doesn't match your loyalty. RS has played the least competitive schedule of any supposedly highly ranked school over the last ten years just to look good in the rankings. If the sixman rankings were determined with the rankings of the competition played against considered, RS would be ranked about #20 each season. RS consistently plays the newbies and basketball schools to run up that victory total.
And yet have won 9 state Championships, and have made the playoffs for over 20 years. Your crying about SOS is hilarious. 😂 Can’t continue to always be in the mix and lead the 6 man State in State championships with a “weak Schedule” every year but still win state 9 times! Bless your heart, we love the hatred though!!! 😁🏈💪🏼

Well the vaulted strength of schedule tells the sixman world that Rs is a lot of hot air. Since Burkhart isn't willing to risk getting beat by any team that has a pulse in the regular season, he lines up the weakest opponents that will schedule the Yotes. This season's schedule was exceptionally weak even by Burkhart's standards. So you will notice that Coolidge will Not be on the schedule next year, that game was way too close for comfort. May was dropped from the RS schedule a few years ago because they know to tackle. Beating Cherokee twice this year and the usual suspects doesn't impress sixman fans because they see all the competitive teams in the west. Maybe Oglesby will return some respect to the east. The best teams will play the best teams, and that certainly isn't RS. Nothing ventured is nothing gained.

Have Newcastle call RS and schedule a game….@CoachClutch

Please don’t argue with these dummies.😂 Got plenty of nothing to do but be mad Lee and them are setting behind the keyboard in Gordon’s shadow.
Forget those teams mentioned let’s just get an annual strawn game on the schedule. Why don’t you two dummies go get Lee a power bar from the pack a sac and get him to call up RS so they can finally play a real man’s team.
Tex does Burkhart really live rent free or just the geriatrics kicking in. He’s not even employed at the school.

Let's see what happens If GR meets RS again.
What exactly does this mean.?.? You talking about the last time they played when he carried strawn? I like how you’re using this to Insinuate he has a bone to pick and you’ll be suiting up beside him. If your meaning if they play at state so be it. Benjamin is a great team there’s no doubt about it. RS has there work cut out for them in Oglesby. RS kids will show up to play no matter what, and just like today you’ll be setting home.

Richland Springs district alone had 3 top 10 teams. RS, Cherokee, and Rochelle. Your hatred and Ignorance is hilarious!!! 😂
