Coach D, I hear what you are saying about people hiding behind a nickname or whatever. I also know that people get in trouble by putting their name and employer on an opinion page. When someone does this they are tying their employer to their opinion and if too many people call this employer or the employer disagrees, the employee can have problems. Just signing your name can get you in trouble. It has nothing to do with being brave or whatever word you want to use. When mi is applying for a job flipping burgers in a neighboring town, his rants may come back to haunt him.

I can assure you Milford Insider will not be flipping burgers.... why must you continue to throw disrespect towards him? And I say what I please, my school knows I only take up for student athletes and they have no problem with it... he just supports his school and his town.. every time he comes on here with an opinion you folks come after him.. get a grip my brother and quit insulting his character... he is an exceptional student athlete... I take up for him because he is a young man that I’ve come to mentor as I do with 60+ other student athletes .. the things that you are saying I promise you that you wouldn’t say these things to his face... stop hiding behind a screen and insulting him... and that goes for the rest of you people on here...

Anything further that you all will like to discuss I’m always one phone call away.. come to Dallas and let’s have a sit down.

You all will learn one day to stop being so rude.

I don’t care about too much in life but one thing I care about is the Student Athletes..

These young men are our future and you all need to wake up and support them and stop going after them

This is my final post regarding this situation..

Peace and happiness my people, peace and happiness

God bless,

My post was really to you. Better be careful tying your employers name to your opinions. Say something that is embarrassing to them and guess what. You need to listen to what I just said. You are still a young man and you have many years of frustration ahead of you. Get in a disagreement with your employer and they will escort you out of the building. It is all a business.

When mi learns that other people have feelings, I will get off his case. He is the one disrespectful to other people. Just read his comments in this section.

I have read his posts throughout the year and feel like his is more pro-Milford than anti-anyone else. This discussion reminds me of this book I bought for a class [and unfortunately never read] called "the Post-American World." Although I linked it below, the subtitle is "it isn't the fall of America but the rise of everyone else." Just because MilfordInsider thinks Milford is awesome does not mean he thinks negatively of other schools.

Some people on this site get offended way too easily; I posted something positive about Richland Springs and someone from Strawn jumped on me. The Richland Springs crowd use to do that quite a bit back in the ole' glory days with TE!

I would have loved to go to schools as successful as Milford, Strawn, and Richland Springs as a student. What's wrong with picking one and supporting it? While this might get me in trouble, I think public school employees, from the administration to the coaches/teachers, need to work on being less offended by things.

Although I disagree with MilfordInsider sometimes, a few times to the point that I think he is delusional, his post make the games more interesting to keep up with.

@Mr Old Folks,
At this point we will have to disagree. I’m a Milford super fan and proud Alum. I understand that I am biased towards Milford but I have that right to be just like you have the right to support any team or program you choose.

You’ve came on this board and disrespected me a few times saying I “live at my mothers house” and say I’ll be “flipping burgers” at a local restaurant. Both statements, plus others you’ve made in the past, I find really funny. I’ve played sports all my life and I’ve been trash talked way harder than that. I hold no ill will towards you personally, i use your comments as motivation to continue to succeed. You say you don’t like me because of how I act/post on this board but yet you turn around and do the same thing to me... that’s a contradiction. You’ve wished bad things upon me and that speaks volumes about your character.

You speak negatively about me based on post I’ve made but you don’t know me. I have GREAT relationships with 6 man coaches from all over the state. Coaches that are considered legends that I call my mentors and we speak/text often. I’ve helped multiple 1A Student athletes get in contact with college coaches. My number one goal is trying to get as many student athletes from 1A sized schools into college sports and grow the game of 6 Man Football.
We can disagree about sports all day long until the dogs come home, and I’m fine with that. But please leave the other things out. Thank you Coach Davis for your support.

If you’d like you can message me and I’ll send you my cell phone number and we can discuss whatever you’d like in private. Have a great day.

I see this has been side-swindled so I'll put us back on track.
The noise I'm being told/hearing is

Opening Soon -
Valley

Re: T. Keith will be going to Sterling City

Happy has starting their interviewing process of 8 from what I've been told (heard) one candidate has dropped out.

Hart may possibly be open soon -
Southland may possible be open soon

Actually,
I've always preferred
the friendly
"My team is better than ur team"
back and forth banter.
Especially since my team is.
Jus sayin'.
Plus good luck to all who are searching for that right fit.
It's a hard row to hoe, I know.

So I guess that means that at least two high profile, top of the line head coaches will be performing at the assistant level come August. Highly unusual. I don't know that I have seen this before.

I am still curious as to which current assistants would make a great HC their first year out.

Brandon Hopper has resigned from Meadow ISD.
Meadow may have an opening unless they fill within.

Where is Hopper going?
In an interview with KCBD, Hopper said it was a family decision to relocate to the Hill Country because his wife was hired for a great job. No word about his next coaching gig just yet.

It is hard to figure why most administrations and school boards are made up of "slow learners". It is so much easier to keep a good coach with a successful program than it is to go out and find another like him (or her).

I agree 1000% because many head 6-man coaches play the game like it is 11-man and hurt their teams chances of winning by doing so. A 6-man school with a solid to good coach should try to keep him at all costs; Then again, so many schools only care about participation within their athletic programs.

Although I am no expert, Zephyr nor Happy never struck me as "participation" type schools. Then again, you never know what happened behind the scenes.

As posted by Amy McDaniel from the San Angelo Standard Times. Irion County will have a new coach in 2019 leading the program into the first six-man season
