Olfen's address is in Rowena. The school is 5 miles from Lowake Steak House. But, Olfen is actually a German community just outside Rowena.

Some more information for anybody interested. Olfen has had a school since 1901, but it was only though the 8th grade. The high school students went to either Ballinger or Paint Rock. They added high school in 2017 and played JV sports and began UIL Varsity sports in 2020. In 2022. they dropped football, but kept their other sports in the UIL. Even though they had dropped football with the UIL, they played Independent football in 2022 and 2023.
