should there be an extra chanpionship game after d1 and d2 have their champs? the battle of the champs to prove who is the best stand out team for that season....would it be possible if it would happen in the future?

As a fan that would be awesome. As a player maybe not so much. That would mean every year a state champion ( or more if you included privates) would end their season with a loss.

Bad idea....they tried it was basketball and it was nothing more than an exhibition. both teams won state the day before and really just played for fun.

If you want it to happen...UIL would have to combine the divisions and the districts...and then it would make sense to have three teams come from a district for the playoffs...for the smaller schools in general perhaps not a good idea...but for the big schools in 6 man maybe a benefit.

Don't think it will ever happen.
In 1990 when the 1st split Championship (5A only) happened. A lot of people were crying loudly for a last game to determine the
"true" champion. That is just a slight whimper today. My team (Aldine) won half of that split and I thought it was "tainted" for
several years. It doesn't bother me a bit today. We still have won a state championship.
The UIL is gonna do what the UIL wants to do.

The UIL is going to do what the member schools vote for them to do.

They send out surveys all the time getting opinions on stuff like this.
