Sixman trivia

Leman, when I asked you for trivia questions, I wasn't expecting to have to do so much research! Don't give us the answers yet - I still haven't given up.

Well, I've got 3 of the top 6 latest posts, nothing like a top posters count or anything. Just a slow night and I'm bored. Who was the QB from the Semi team from the East that lost - they're only game of the year lost - to the eventual state champ's, who now has a state ring. Where did he get it?

Ha, Ha. Did it. All six spots. Guess if I posted at 3-4 in the morning it would be no feat, or in season this time of night for that matter. I can go affirm to myself in the mirror that I've done something that I'm not aware of even rainless has done in all his pontification.

I've done it several times. But I am the post count king...

Q:
The 03 state game set a record (for that time) for combined point's scored. Who was the leading rusher, how many yard's? Second leading rusher?

This is one of the few games I do not have stats for...I will guess at the players...no clue on the yards...
1. Jeremy Parsons, Strawn. 2. Clifton Baker, Strawn

(what source are you using for yardage?)

Just for clarification,
is there anything wrong with replying to your own post if no-one else does?

I don't think so. I talk to myself all the time.

That's what I thought too!

Here's an easy one to keep it going through the Holidays:
Who preceded Roddy Maddox as coach at Cherokee and what was the circumstances that Roddy took over for him?

Having a moment of lucidness, maybe Billy Jones or something like that. Still to lazy to find Underwood's book.
Correct.......Billy D. Jones passed away in the summer and Roddy took over.

Q:
Here is an easy one. Name the three coaches who coached the Marathon Mustangs to state championship games.

A: 1974 - Paul Pascual, 1976 - Vance Jones, 1977 - C. Cade...I think his first name is Clay...he's the sup at Sonora I think...
