Rigdon????

Half time. I think GR around 167 rushing, Receiving ?, 3, 30 plus yds? Two TD's rushing, two receiving?
Columbus - #1 with a 14 Yd Rushing TD. Edna 0, Columbus 6

Columbus - #1 with a 1 Yd Rushing TD. Edna 0, Columbus 13

Columbus - #1 with a 70 Yd Rushing TD. Edna 0, Columbus 34

Columbus - #1 with a 4 Yd Rushing TD. Edna 0, Columbus 41

This is from the scorer on MaxPreps. He also caught some passes one was a one-handed catch that set up a score.

Thanks. I would have sworn 1 was a screen pass along the sideline for a TD, making it, 5 total? I think 10 yds or so?

Not much being said on here about the remaining two sixman games by those who have followed them closely. In both cases one team is highly favored. A great accomplishment by all who made it to the dance.
I guess maybe this still semi qualifies as sixman related as GR is proving a 3X sixman MVP can play at a high level in 11 man.
I was looking for stat's on the Edna game. I never heard GR's total yards. The announcers were downright giddy after the game, as they well should be, and it's their first time. But, they never mentioned his total yards that I recall. Still found nothing on that.
But in the process of looking, I came across this.

I think he started that game with a little over 1500 yds. With the 205 added I'm wondering if after last week he might be nearing 2000. Kind of a milestone in 11 man. Especially missing all or the better part of 4 games. Also lost track of total TD's.

Thanks. I thought he was at a little over 1700 yds rushing. Already over 2K. That, the 40 TD's and 12.6 ypc might attract more attention from other schools. If not for the in reality near 4 missed games, plus being pulled early in several others with big leads, he would have even more incredible stat's. Another ring would be the cherry on top.

According to ESPN, he has signed the letter of intent with Wyoming.
Recruiting: After signing a National Letter of Intent, you are agreeing not to contact any new schools, effectively ending the recruiting process. Other NCAA schools and coaches are not allowed to contact you either. You have officially chosen one school to attend.
And if he were to decide not to go to Wyoming, he is banned from NCAA athletics for 1 year, with exceptions:
Sometimes, a recruit will change their mind about which university they want to play at after signing a National Letter of Intent. In this situation, the player must request a release from the National Letter of Intent organization to contact another school about transferring. This request is known as a 4-4 transfer, or a transfer between two four-year universities. The National Letter of Intent organization can either reject the application, remove the recruiting ban or completely release the student-athlete from the agreement.

Possible gray shirt?

Uncle. What is a gray shirt?
I've never head of it either, but this is what I found.

Grey shirting is a recruiting term that is not as commonly used as the term redshirting. A grey shirt is an incoming college freshman who postpones his enrollment in classes until the second term of his freshman year. This means they don’t take classes until the winter term. The NCAA allows college athletes five years to complete four years of eligibility after initial enrollment.

When a grayshirt puts off his enrollment, he’s extending his eligibility past his senior year for another term. Grayshirting is most commonly used in football. By delaying enrollment until the winter after his senior year of high school, a football player can play the fall season one year after his graduation date.

Still a little confused. So, one doesn't play or practice while sitting out the 1st football season?
But on enrolling for the spring play BB and attend spring practice?
I guess that extends developmental time. But skipping a year playing FB?
