My son is in the Air Force and stationed outside London England. My D-inlaw came over few a few weeks ago to see her brother play.

That's going a long way to be rid if the infamous Rainman. What did your DIL do to deserve having to come back and face you alone?

She didn't stay with us but for one night. The house was in the beginning stages of remodel. She stayed with her parents in Morgan Mill.

We're flying across the pond to see them over Christmas.

RJ I commend your son for his being in the Military. It goes to show his dad and mama are good people with great morals. They are doing a good job in London keeping down the terrorist. When does he get to come home?

He has another 18 months left on his tour in England. Our DIL just informed us that she is pregnant, and I told them that they were going to have to find a base somewhere in Texas where my grandchild can attend a 6-man school. So hopefully they'll be coming home to the San Angelo/Abilene region sometime in early 2015.

I wish Silverton had an Air Force base.

No. They closed it a long time ago.

I'm tickled about your grandbaby also RJ. You and your wife will be overwhelmed in love. Holding them for the first time is great. You won't want to share. Will your son be getting leaves? It would be wonderful if he could be home when she has your grandbaby. I want to see a youtube video if she has the baby before he gets home so we can see his expression.

If your DIL can't make it home to have that baby, Rainman, make sure you send a jar full of good Briscoe County dirt to them. You want to make sure the first dirt that kid's feet touches is Texas dirt.

Here are the ones I would be interested in:

Hedley, Savoy, Blackwell, Trent, Patton Springs, Westbrook, Balmorhea, Harrold, Prairie Lea, (Garden City, Sterling City you already have)...

And tell me what all those schools have in common....they are all teams that played 6man in 1938 and are playing 6man this year.

(PS: I am pretty sure your Highland one is off...My Grandmother went there in the 1950s)

Remember? I found those game scores from the 40's in the Bronte newspaper......
