Interesting history of two active 6-man coaches

[Castle Hills Coach]

This was the first UMHB football game ever played. Two 6-man football teams comprised entirely of UMHB students duked it out at Tiger Field in Belton. If you look closely at the team pictures you will see that each team has a current 6-man football coach as a team member. Coach Philip Hudgens of Austin Hill Country played on the gold team and Coach Jeremy Wentrcek of Castle Hills played for the purple team. These two coaches have been competing against each other since they were teenagers.

You are correct. He was the purple team's head coach. Amazing individual!

Coach Teaff was the honorary coach. Came and stood on the sideline with us during the game. Awesome individual!

You all probably know this but he resurrected Baylor Football. Good in the 1950s they hadn't won the Southwest Conference Championship or gone to the Cotton Bowl in 50 years in 1974. I've still got my game program, and a "God Bless Grant Teaff" bumper sticker.
