6 man History

I think that there has been some confusion with Allen and there at the school trying to look back at their history and jut think "our first teams played six-man" when in fact they don't research it and double check the facts...kind of like when a newspaper...and I have seen this in articles about 1984 Jayton and others...about a school playing their first six-man football game...when in fact they played six-man back in the 40s or 50s and people have just forgotten or are just plan lazy and don't want to research it a little bit....I will get to the bottom of this! OBK does that archive have McKinny's paper for the 1930s?

I know there were more 6 man schools in East Texas that I have missed. There are indications that Colmesneil and Shelbyville may have played a year or two themselves, but no hard evidence.

Two things, Gunter must have been tougher than a two dollar steak with that lineup. 5-1-2 Wow. Second, now I know what is wrong with Savanna, Kyle Mosley must have run over him a number of times. Just saying.
