1972 Dawson. They did not play 6 man this year, but 6 man Hall of Fame coach Sam Adams was their coach then. I played against this squad.

1960 Thornton. This was the last year the Tigers played football and they went out with a bang, winning the district championship. They later merged with Groesbeck.

1955 Thornton team. Of the schools in that district that year, only Coolidge, Oakwood and Normangee still play football. North Zulch is a basketball only sissy school and all the rest are closed. CowboyP counted and they had 39 kids in the high school that year.
