Some more old year book pics from Cowboy. Pickton's 1950 6 man team. With desegregation, they merged with Como in 1965 and played one year of 8 man before jumping directly to Class A.

1950 Roaring Springs. Thye merged with Matador in spring 1966.

1957 Roaring Springs Yellow Jackets, their last full year in 6 man. The next year their district went 8 man. They played a few more 6 man games over the next 8 years.

Mount Calm in 1958. This was the last football team until 2010. The school had been put on Accreditation probation for various violations in 1958 by the TEA, and on 9/13/59, the accreditation for the Mount Calm high school was removed as they had not corrected the deficiencies. It was however accredited as a K-8 school, but the high school students were sent to Axtell or Hubbard.
