I'm sure the West would welcome that. Bring them on

"Who cares about the East?" What a classy statement. While it's true that the West pioneered 6man football in Texas, is it really necessary to be so disrespectful of the East? I was born, raised, and coach in the East, yet I follow and respect the teams from the West. Is it too far out of your comfort zone to do the same for the East? I'm all about developing the talent across this great state so that we don't see so many ridiculous blowouts, which would in turn make for a spectacular state championship game. Not to mention bettering the odds that the fans will get to see 4 full quarters of lightning fast, hard hitting 6man football! Imagine how great the All-Star games would be if we had well developed, well coached players from ALL ACROSS the state, and not just west of DFW! So, who cares about the East?? I say everyone should... but that's just me.

Well said Coach Anonymous...Were all in this together...for better or for worse...in sickness and in health....

There's one team from the east in the top 10. One. It was that way last year, and the year before that, and the year before that. Compare May's lofty #6 ranking with the 5 teams above them: Either the #1 or #4 team will go home in the first round. Two of the top five teams will be sent home from the playoffs by the second round.

In all honesty, it would be a fairly accurate statement this year to say: "who cares about regions 1,3, or 4?"

You guys need to get your Depends unbunched or you'll leak all over your skirts.

I am a May Tiger parent and I hope everyone keeps underestimating our team. We have a roster full of talented players who play every down, and never give up. The reason why you line up and play is because on any given day anyone can be beat.

Who's underestimating your team? Every single pick on here has May beating Lingleville, every one of them. And the ones who picked scores has you beating them by a minimum of 45. So who is it that is underestimating you?
If you are referring to the people out west who think that they dominate everything and that the east never has a chance, get used to it. It's been that way as long as I can remember. It's not their fault, they don't get enough oxygen cause of all the dust in the air. It's not your team specifically, it's ANY team on the east side of the bracket. They actually think their worst team is ten steps ahead of our best team. (It's best to let em just think that, cause of the oxygen thing i mentioned earlier)

Admit it, hornkeeper - when the last realignment put t-rock in the west, you had two thoughts run through you your head:

1. "Whew! Now someone else will get to go to the finals."
- and -
2. "The west is even more loaded now than ever"

This power concentration in the west is cyclical. When the west goes in the crapper, you cedar choppers in the east will have every right to sound every bit as obnoxious as us desert rats.

Change "think" to "know" and you'd be right. ;-)

That's OK, we like you East Texas weenies any way. :)
Dirt eater, nobody asked for your opinion.

Who said we wanted to hear from an orange mohawked cedar chopper?
