When will we have Football?

Goleeeeee ! I’m agreeing with Topher who is agreeing with Tebow!
Gosh this is progress in respecting each person’s right to agree or disagree without
insulting or demeaning someone!
A welcome change to the discussion. Thanks for leading the way guys!
God Bless !

I'm getting an awful lot of positive credit lately... I think I need to go back to my communist Canadian thinking! lol ;)

Down with Donald? .. that should get me a few good tongue lashings ;)

Why opt out? I get it, these counties have low rates of infection... but again, whats the harm!??! It is a cloth mask that protects others. Are people really that pissed off about having to wear a mask when out in the public until the curve is flattened? Things like this could play a role in numbers continuing to increase and football being delayed and schools not opening up on time!

While I am all for debate and people voting for whoever they want, this is the craziest period of time I have ever seen. The State of California charged a white guy with a "hate crime" for trying to paint over Black Life's Matter graffit (https://abcnews.go.com/US/california-co ... d=71668864), the City of Seattle told their white employees they need to be purged of their "whiteness" and accept punishment because of their skin color (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... eness.html), and the Democrats want to defund police departments, not enforce simple laws, and support socialist economic policies.

We can argue about normal issues in 2024. As for 2020, we need to put all this crazy crap to rest, period, end of statement, by voting for Donald Trump.

I kinda doubt that this "crazy crap" will be put to rest any time soon. The supreme court justices who were supposed to have good sense have gone off the deep end with the known crazies. Their latest rulings are just playing into all the mayhem. How about their Oklahoma ruling?! Can you even believe that any normal person, let alone a judge, would side with a man convicted of raping a little four year old girl and say that he should get a new trial under Indian law and that the entire eastern half of Oklahoma still belongs to the Creek Indians??!
I don't think we have even begun to see crazy yet!

That's a good point about the Supreme Court, although I'm not familiar with the case you are talking about.Trump beating Biden like Reagan beat Mondale in 84, however, would be a good start to ending the craziness.

I am not trying to start a war here so please remember that .... the entire world outside of the United States would rather Sleepy Joe Biden get elected than Donald Trump. I understand, I really do, that the vast majority of Texans will vote for Trump and while he may do great things for your own country, his international diplomacy has been brutal.

I can't believe the greatest country in the world has come to choosing between Trump and Biden.... it really saddens me. :(

I really don't care what the world thinks about President Trump. My concern is what President Trump is doing for the United States. And sitting in my house this AM I think he is making daily decisions based on "What is good for the US" not "What is good for me (Biden and family)". I will continue to support President Trump.
Now let's get off the political and back to discussing football, and other issues facing Six Man Small schools in our Great State of TEXAS.

No word yet on honoring athletic incoming scholarships.

actually, in their press release, they stated they were honoring the scholarships... and allowing the teams to have a final season

Just my opinion, but if the rest of the world wants us to have Biden, it may be even more of a reason to elect Trump. Why does the rest of the world want us to have a weaker leader? Hmmm.....

Maybe those countries should elect Biden to lead them, again, JMO.

That's not the point.... Sleepy Joe is a terrible decision but so is Trump. Y'all are screwed either way to be honest. :(

As for the few members looking after the US first, whoever gets in in November better get US jobs back cause like every other country on earth, the US relies more on imports than exports. That's just the lay of the land. In 2019, the US had $2.5 trillion in exports and $3.1 trillion in imports of both goods and services. Just like us, y'all are importing more than exporting. Trump obviously hasn't closed the gap in his 4 years.

I sure hope we have Football season as scheduled. We have had record numbers show up for HS and JH Summer Workouts. If we don't have a season then I'll be dealing with a lot of very upset athletes and parents - they are all ready to start now!

Isn't the leader of Canada a homosexual Muslim? I know I read that him and Barrack Obama had an affair and Michael threatened to leave Barrack. Can you confirm this for me, the American press doesn't seem interested in covering the story. Thank you

This is exactly what I'm talking about: you are talking about a political issue that affects the world. While I don't agree with you on the substance, it's a valid and rational argument.

If mayors in big cities don't enforce simple laws, however, the U.S. won't be able to "ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare" (Preamble to the U.S. Constitution) well enough for the president's policy, whether it's Trump or Biden, to matter at all. A government that does not provide protection will perish!

Like I said, there is room for debate on tax policy, foregin-affairs, the effects of outsourcing, the morality of certain social issues, and many other topics that are important to people. My point is none of that matters if we start treating people differently, especially in terms of the law, because of apperance or how much we agree with them. I say everyone should vote for Trump in 2020, or against nuttiness, and let's hope that things get back to normal in 2024. To me, the alternative to Trump is anarchy.

That is probably the most sane thing I have read in a long time. I have my misgivings on several points in your message but it's a solid post. Thank you Tebow. :)

Nah our Prime Minister isn't attractive enough for Obama. No way Barrack would leave Michelle for our guy. :)

It will be heartbreaking for students, parents, and members of the many small, rural communities across Texas if football and other fall sports are delayed or even worse cancelled. Hopefully Texas can get their numbers under control in the next few weeks and start practicing!

There is a difference between strong leadership and being a bully. Just remember after 2024, if he gets in again, Trump will be gone but the diplomatic damage will last far longer. So long as US imports are higher than their exports, you need the rest of the world to survive as they need America. To put it simple, don't poop where you eat and dumb Donald has been laying turds all over the world since he got into office.

The trade-off unfortunately with Sleepy Joe is that he is too soft on domestic issues. Hence why I said "y'all are screwed" with the two people running for POTUS in November. Donald = ruining international relations but stronger domestically, Sleepy Joe = good for international relations but crap at domestic issues.
