Scratch and Drop III

Not to steal RJ's thunder, well maybe. I cant wait.
The big news tonight would be Happy by 38 over Valley. Pretty dominant sounding score for the anticipation of a close game. Calvert 45's Abbott? Look out. Richland Springs gives up 44 to SA Feast, giving the freshmen playing time ? Gordon wins by 11 over Blanket, is Mackey hurt? Tioga 50, Throck 16...
Garden City 38, Sterling City 37, an old rivalry by one point. After last week, Crowell 61, Paducah 13?
After week one losses to top teams, Rochelle and Hermleigh 45 opponent's again.
Last, Strawn and Abilene Christian combine for 60 (?) points in the 4th quarter?
Comment's on these or other games?

I didnt have a dog in the fight, but attended Live Oak vs Waco Methodist and Live Oak was up 68-30 with 1 minute to go in the 3rd and next thing you knew it was 74-68 Live Oak with 90 seconds to go in the game. One of the better games I have seen in a long time.

What a difference a year can make in the tioga vs Throckmorton game. Last year we had a 3 hour drive home after we got 45ed in Throckmorton. Now they get to make that 3 hour drive after a 50-16 defeat. Throck may have lost some talent but I think Tioga is real this year. Unfortunately this will probably be our last year in 6man.

RS Vs FEAST was a hard fought game last night. RS and FEAST played their best six players the whole game. RS was the better team overall. RS caused four turnovers that each turned into a TD. At 6:13 in the 3rd it was RS 60 to FEAST 44. Then the wheels turned off for FEAST.

Sounds like you're not giving much credit to either of the #1 teams in their respective divisions....... The spread was 31 points......... A few years ago the Coyotes were criticized for ending too many games early by 45 point rule. Which way do you want it?

Petersburg, Spur having good early wins.
Gholson looks better than last year.

Happy looking good.

Ira winning with 11 man scores (low scoring).

How did calvert 45 abbott. I could see Calvert winning (which I didn't), but by 45 vs a top 5 Div I team.

The game between Savoy and Tioga should go along ways in letting each team know where they are at this point. Savoy knocked off the #1 team in one of the private school divisions last night. So I'll be interested to see how the game goes. I remember a couple of years ago when Tioga fielded a team several of us on here commented that they probably wouldn't be a six man team but one cycle and some people on here from west Texas just couldn't believe a school would grow that fast. It's hard for people to imagine how that area is booming. It wasn't much longer ago when Melissa was in the same boat with yall, K-8 and what are they 3 or 4a now?

I like to have my cake and eat it too. Crow doesn't taste too good no matter how much salt, pepper or sauce as I've learned before. I did not know Feast was # 1 in their division. There's so many schools in DI & II I still don't keep up with what Goob called the Church Schools. Which is why I was surprised by Rockwall Heritage in week one. Sound's like RS was tested a bit as well as Feast in spite of the score. Good experience for down the road.

You killed my precious little bird, 51Eleven, before she was allowed to spread her wings and fly. I am almost obligated, at this point, to come out with the original version of Head Scratchers and Jaw Droppers semana tres. If for no other reason than to show the fine occupants of 6man foolsball dot com how to craft a story which will flow.

You're the idiot kid at Hico who thinks he can make a better burger by cooking it on lower heat for a shorter amount of time. Then he wonders why everyone is projectile vomiting raw beef.

I'll have the real one up tomorrow, You would be doing everyone a service if you changed this thread subject to something that didn't involve scratching or dropping.

I've not killed it big hair. As Scratch and Drop is a bit coarse, I considered Saturday Morning Quarterback as a more appropriate title but in light of your original post itchy and scratchy seemed appropriate.
BTW, burgers in Hico are the Bomb, well cooked, last one I had.
No Habla semana tres. Three what?

If you would take the time to notice - I waited on putting out my bloggish-like post until all the scores were in. You were like a marine with three hours of shore leave.

Have no fear. I will do it right, and it will garner the readership it deserves. I might be hiring interns for the playoffs. So, keep your nose clean and we'll see what happens.

If you'll notice, this thread didn't start until Saturday morning, which game specifically did you wish to discuss?
I'm still kickin my own butt for leaving the Strawn-Abilene Christian game near the end of the 3rd quarter for a supposed personal emergency in conjunction with cell phone service. The score was AC 44, Strawn 43.
We went on home. And missed the best quarter of football in a lot of games this year. 60 point's scored in it. Final 79-73 Strawn. Great game SHS and ACHS.

Gosh RJ, you almost made me tear up with the Zen-like quality of your post.......... The gentle but stern natureof the reprimand, the sophisticated humor of the Marine on short liberty reference was indeed truly inspired. I applaud both your literary effort & football acumen. ..............,

I surmise from the timing & content of the posts that you must have broken out the good stuff, huh?.........

RJ posted later than me and sounded more well oiled than I in some of his earlier posts (sixman foolsball dot com?). At least we were home on computers and not out driving.

I did read Gordon had Mackey out as well as Jorgensen (their # 2 player?). The article did not mention the nature of their injuries or how long they would be out. I hope the injuries are not serious and they recover soon, right after the Strawn game.

I've still never read anything on Calvert-Abbott. Did the Panthers have injuries too? Are the Trojans that dominant?

51Eleven

I hope 60 points in one quarter is not what you think is excellent football to watch...Where is the defense? More huddling on the sidelines and lining up for kick offs than action.

I think the GC-SC game would be fun to watch 37-36 final.
