Random question. Will Burkhart be able to coach during summer workouts and 2-a-days? Or does he have to wait until the exact date he was "suspended" from coaching for 3 years? Personal opinion is he got screwed by the uil. Seen other coaches/schools not receive any suspensions while literally doing the same thing he allegedly did.

I stated an opinion, not a fact. Didn't fix anything bud lol. Just saying, haven't seen any other coaches get suspended like that. Perrin was close by playing an ineligible player and could've got into a lot of trouble if they didn't catch it in time. Granted they were left out of the playoffs but I'd say that's on the coaches there. I could bring up Lorenzo too from the year before. No suspensions.

Some people refuse to understand that the player's Mother testified in the case under discussion who the person was on the other end of the phone call with her son. She knew what was going on. The UIL checked and verified the phone records and JB admitted he was on the call. It was a cut and dried case. Those other cases were obviously different or the UIL would have ruled in a similar fashion.

The terminology in the committee meeting results just say "suspended for three years", not school years, so my assumption would be that he is eligible to Coach again on Sept 12, 2025.

This is always a given. Panhandle towns seem to be always open
