Weak teams are put in the spotlight in the playoffs by the 2 division format. You see this in all UIL classes. There are a lot of teams that many thought were elite like Oglesby or Aquilla, that simply beat a lot of weak teams but we're just slightly above mediocre. As for Strawn, in the regular season, they did challenge Gordon better than for instance Richland Springs did, at least in sustained drives. And Gordon had a top 2 way starter out versus RS.
