I was perusing the new alignments on the UIL website and thought I'd share what everyone else already knows that I didn't. Feel free to mention what I didn't notice or you might offer further insight on.
D1. Balmoreah, Milford, an Crowell are back. Could the east come down to Union Hill - Milford if both stay healthy? 9 of 16 districts have 5 teams. Is that an improvement? Perrin-Whitt is playing sixman. Good for them. Might take a year or two to learn the game but an opportunity to become more competitive than they've ever been in 11 man.
DII. Gordon is back. In the same district as Strawn, Gustine, and, new to varsity football Bluff Dale.
Three Way, between Stephenville and Glen Rose is also playing varsity football for the first time. In a district with Cranfills Gap, Walnut Springs and Iredell. 9 4 team districts, one 3 team, 6 5 team.
