In my opinion there should not be any 6 team districts!
Olfen and Pawnee shouldn’t be in a district. I think if the districts are set up like this (good chance) we are going to have 2 three team districts by the time district starts.

In D2, I look for Evant to be in 16, and Blanket and Cherokee to switch positions.
It’s better than what I could come up with. I don’t envy the people who actually have to do the realignments.
Olfen turned in a count of 43 but these teams will have a tough time finishing the season.

Here is novel thought, even thugh I know it will never happen, they should only count the male students in football in 1A at least.
The reason I mention the schools with less than 30 you can't assume that all boys will play football and there could be more girls than boys in those schools.
What changes would you make?
I don't see Cherokee in a district without Richland Springs.

If you wanted to try to even things out in D1, Region 2 the only realistic thing would be to move Irion County (Mertzon) to District 6 and put Highland in their place in District 8. It would still suck but, mileage wise, the Mertzon/Highland moves would probably make the most sense. I'm with NIN987123, I wouldn't want to have to make these choices. No matter what, someone is going to be pissed off. Reckon it's time to turn the drunk monkey loose.
That district should be Cherokee, Rochelle, Mullin, Lohn, Richland Springs. Throw Olfen in district 8. Have a district with Brookesmith, Blanket, Sidney, Panther Creek, and Rising Star. Have another with Evant, Gustine, Zephyr, and Priddy. But again like @WV Backer said someone would be pissed off.

I'll say this any time someone brings numbers like this up. Six man really needs a division 3. People argue it would cheapen the state championship or it would make travel more difficult, but people argued that before the d1 d2 split. There's a huge difference in schools with 61 vs schools in the 30s. Same vs schools with 62 vs schools with 100.

For starters I wouldn’t put Zephyr in a district with Cherokee, Brookesmith, and Richland Springs as none of those schools are close when you have Blanket just 12 minutes away. I think division 2 districts 13, 14, and 15 need to be re-examined, especially with the removal of Olfen and Pawnee as district competitors
