Oakwood Vs Buckholts

Personally, I don't think anyone is going to get past Throckmorton, guys. As for Oakwood and Abbot, I haven't seen Abbot and know very little about the team, but if they are good at stopping the running game and have a good passing game, Abbot should win. Oakwood has a very weak pass defense, or maybe, Buckholts was just so good at passing, it made them look like their passing defense was not good. Which is it, guys?
 
Oakwood was not healthy that game. number eight played sparingly in the first half on offense. Number 1 the quarterback that threw several good passes in the first half is a freshman by the way. On defense number 11 the starting 6 foot 4 cb was out with concussion. He is also the extra point kicker which in my opinion is what abbott vs oakwood will come down to. he should be back next friday from what i hear. There was also one of oakwoods best defensive lineman out. Number eight did a great job sticking in there quite honestly. As for the bet cowboy well that hardly seems fair since abbott is already picked to win by 22. Flip them around i wont post til after finals if oakwood loses except to congratulate abbott once but if oakwood wins then you dont post til after week three except to congratulate oakwood once. uh oh. What you going to do? NOTHING ELSE EXCEPT CONGRATULATE. seems like a much better bet. Also seems like you might have your feelings hurt since i said i was glad you picked abbott. Oakwood could lose next week but to think Abbott has as easy a time as they did against the first two playoff teams is quite silly. Abbott better have some running shoes on and if they do like buckholts and focus only on the run there will be a few wide open touchdown passes right over the top. Winner of this game plays an easier game next week against gordon or santa anna and in my opinion plays in state championship with a good chance to beat whoever comes out of the west. Im thinking throck but Petersburg valley and rankin are good enough to get there also. but no team makes it threw that unscathed. Am i a hundred percent oakwood wins? no but if you want ill go with that bet i discussed. And buckholts fans showed great sportsmanship at the game please dont lose that here by being sore losers.
 
I feel like abbott is a good enough team to beat oakwood but if on paper they are picked to win by 22 why should i get the worse deal. You should. Thats fair right?
 
Nobody else is involved in this bet and if you dont want to read what i post then dont. But my bet still stands. It is a fair bet because abbott is favored in points and im favored in time off the site. You want to play with the big boys then play. If not go quietly back to aquilla and assure yourself you will get me next time. I know you have a vendetta and to me its sorta funny. Richland springs vs milford is in Hico, texas and Oakwood vs. Abbott is in Mexia, texas. According to mapquest Aquilla to Hico is one hour and four minutes west. Aquilla to Mexia is one hour and five minutes east. Ill save you the trouble and tell you richland springs beats milford. Go ahead and drive that extra minute and make that bet. lol. unless your scared... P.s. I have a bet going with somebody else already on whether or not you will bet . I wont say what im predicting you will do just thought it was an interesting tid bit of knowledge.
 
lol. Smokey is sorta funny. A friend read my post and texted me a bet. I wont say Which way i bet because then cowboy will have a reason to go the opposite way. Heck i will even go double or nothing on the milford game. If milford wins like you say they will and oakwood loses like you say they will then i wont post til after week three but if Richland springs wins and oakwood wins then you dont post til after week six... if we both go 1 and 1 on our picks then it will cancel out.
 
David, were you even at the game? I WAS there. Hmmm, over FOUR HUNDRED and FIFTY yards? Were YOU watching the game. Either you have to admit that Buckholts had an awesome passing game or that Oakwood has a lousy pass defense. One of our main players was hurt and out the entire game, but did you hear any of us making excuses?

I'll stay off the board until week 3 next year if Oakwood wins, but if Abbott wins, you are done for the season, and must call me Mr. Cowboy, sir until the finals next year. By the way, David, Buckholts almost beat your team, lol, or weren't you there? So now, let's talk about what Abbot ought to have. They just need a defense to stop your running backs. Boys bigger than the Buckholts boys, and I bet they have that. Buckholts has fought their way all year with a very lightweight group of players, most of them probably less than 150 lbs sopping wet. Your number eight is awesome, very good, very tall and a powerful runner, but if Abbot can stop him, it is lights out for Oakwood, whether they run the ball or pass the ball. It will be the Abbot's defense that wins or loses the game.
