I don't think so. I don't think Valley was the best team, so beating them doesn't automatically make them #1. Some peoples ranks had Valley at #1, mine didn't. I still believe that Throckmorton would beat DC 8 out of 10 games and that is why they are ahead of DC, although it is barely. I think Ira is the #1 team right now. And until someone knocks them off or at least busts the spread on them, it will likely stay that way. DC is good, obviously, but not #1 in my opinion.

DC beat Throckmorton 100% of the times they'll play this year. What happens on the field matters a lot more than what might happen on paper. :)

I think Keepers has it just about right - DC lost to Abbott - so even with two great wins vs. Throck & Valley it doesn't mean DC should be #1 - I really like the way keepers 'toy' has lined the teams up based on the season so far - put me down as a keeper fan!

True. He might have 1 and 2 right, but I'd flip DC and Throckmorton. Can't see ranking the team that lost ahead of the team that beat them. Ira and WV are definitely STRONG and undefeated, so I'd have no problem putting them up there.

I know Pete's not married, so he ranks teams to have someone gripe at him. What's your excuse Keeper?

If you're married, you must be keeping your wife too happy.

He is married. I still haven't figured out how he got such a good looking wife. She must have felt sorry for him...

So where does Abbott fit in there? They beat DC. But Abbott lost to Milford. So if you agree with 1 & 2 then it should look like this.

1. Ira
2. WV
3. RS ?
4. Milford
5. Abbott
6. DC
7. T-rock

So I guess I have DC TOO MUCH credit.
nah, I think 4 is a better # for DC than 6. Seems more accurate than your way.

You nailed it!

I would say Hornkeeper's method seems superior to most at this point. How does Midland Trinity move up 20 points by forfeiting to Water Valley? Does the computer think they beat the spread by 44?

Good question. In my system, a forfeit is not put into the computer. I remove the game from my system and show both teams as a bye week, neither teams ratings change.

Keeper,

Not complaining here but how does Bryan Allen rank higher than a team that 45'ed them?

I enjoy watching you guy's trying to figure out what only God knows. He has given you some pretty good insight:)

Thanks for your hard work...you may want to kick your machine a few times for BTC.

Which reminds me of a story. While in the Garden of Eden, God and Adam were having a chat.

Adam asks God why he made women so beautiful.

And God tells him, "So you would fall in love with her."

"So," said Adam, "why did you make women so stupid?"

God says, "So she would fall in love with you."
