Baird 95 and no to the move to six-man...not really been talked about
Smyer turned in 110...and said their Jr High classes were large enough that in 2 years it should be higher
Given it's proximity to Lubbock, it has an even worse refugee problem than Water Valley does with San Angelo.
And without a Grape Creek nearby.......
Runge 93 and not going to play six-man and wont for a good while it seems.
Springlake-Earth 93 and "are petitioning to play 11man football" that they "will play 11-man football but compete with 6man schools in all other sports"
Cross Plains 91 and staying 11man...big jr high classes and dont think nows the time to make the move

I am hoping that they do not allow teams to be "2A" in football and play in 1A vs other sports, this may help a few other schools decide to play 6 man. I know several have said no way for Roby but I also know it has been talked about within their program and has been brought up by several people, if they had to stay up in the new "2A" for basketball then that could help persuade them to come to 6 man football. I also know that it has been brought up around Bronte, apparently their JH grades are not real big either, one of the things that keeps getting brought up from Bronte is they would have to replace the turf.

I keep hearing Gorman is seriously thinking about it from these other guys...but haven't gotten a hold of them yet

I think it's strange that is you are a place like Anthony (enrollment 230ish) if you opt to play 3A football, then you have to play 3A for everything. But, the rules are different for 1A/2A schools? I don't see the reasoning.
Burton 100...idea of going 6man has "never been discussed" they like where they are at now
Frost 115...6man was discussed about 7 years ago but board wanted to stay six-man as long as possible
Shamrock...lady said "looks like we turned in 119"...but "for sure over 105"
Menard 86..."NO defiantly not" when ask if playing six-man had been discussed
Gorman turned in 78 but did not talk with anyone who could say if they will play six-man or not...so Gorman is looking interesting to me.....

Gorman will go sixman. Maybe A little birdy told me. Maybe not but just store that away in your memory banks for when it happens.
