A fast freight train doesn’t stop on a dime. But with a few dumb board members helping the superintendent stand on the brakes a huge slowdown is inevitable. I haven’t heard any news from over there about whether they have had any applicants for the girls coaching position. I did hear that some of the girls are leaving and some won’t play. ? I hope I heard wrong.
But, I mean, when you have a basketball coach who hasn’t lost a district game in 5 years and you run her off?!! Geez!

Well Mr Reb, you are sounding very much like Gavin of California. “This is all made up”! Are you saying that the coaches Shawn Rogers and Dara Chandler will be back for another year?

I suppose you are disagreeing with the “dumb board members” statement. One of my sources said that the board was given a test to check for dumbness and only 2 passed (and one was a girl). He said it was the IQ test where they are supposed to pour the pi$$ out of the boot with the directions written on the heel. The source also indicated that the superintendent refused to take the test on grounds of self incrimination.

Texas Rebel, since these are ludicrous and unfounded accusations, the simple yes/no question that I asked should be easy enough for you to answer. Are Shawn Rogers and Dara Chandler going to be at Richland Springs next season?

I don't know and I don't care. Do you think they are going to be at Richland Springs? What do your "sources" say about it ?
 
Honestly, I know some people from around the RS area and yes they did reassign Mr. Rogers and Chandler. Why they left. @Johnny South is right about that. However, they have a team built to go on a run which no one has brought up. The supe and admin maybe just trying out new coaches. Doesn't mean a dismantle of the athletic program. I mean, Harley Ethridge is the AD. He's very familiar with RS and I wouldn't be surprised if he coached until JB comes back. Can't rule anything out.

My sources say, ….. Texas Rebel is much like the majority of the board members. Ignorance personified. As in the old saying, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” The board was fooled by the previous Supt. hire who dismantled the RS teaching staff, along with the RS Police Dept. (By the way, RS had one of, if not the finest Police Chief ever.)
Then, after the board finally woke up to that Supt mistake, they hired another goofus who continues the destruction, only this time to athletics. And just fyi, one source stated that the board president gave the current Supt $5,000 just before the Supt made one of his destructive recommendations that the board unanimously approved.
But that’s what the “I don’t know and I don’t care” attitude brings to a complacent and misinformed district.
