All those areas all agricultural and the increased mechanization of farming caused the population drop.

Goree was pretty good in 11 and 6 man until the bottom dropped out.

FInally found the time to do a little research....
Mozelle, which merged with Talpa-Centennial to form Panther Creek lost to Highland in the 1983 state game. I did not count Wellman in 1987 because the merger with Union just used the Wellman facilities.

A sad, but true story and Texas is not the only state where this is happening. The little town I moved to up here in Illinois had 1500, but it was too close to Chicago and now due to Cook County refugees it is now over 10000. Minooka has lost its small town flavor as some of the Chicago parasites have followed the refugees.
