a quick check reveals that Prairie Hill did play six-man in the 1950s...which would match up if Dixson graduated from Baylor in 1949 as the info states...however that would be FAR from some of the "first Six-Man teams" in Texas seeing how it been here almost 20 years by the 1950s
1997 Blackwell - In a district with May and Panther Creek and all 3 were top 10 teams a few times during the season...Blackwell lost by 10 in week 10 to PC for runner-up and PC went on to the state game
1999 Blackwell - 3 way tie for district champs...beat quarter-finalist Highland and lost in...
Paint Creek did have a coach picked out basically at one point and then pulled the plug on him...I did get an email saying they hired him...and then a month later I was told they were looking again...so this may be Opening take 2 for Paint Creek in a way...
