What a great first week of the postseason!
There were a ton of upsets that I certainly never saw coming this week! You know what they say, any given Friday!
Saint Jo and coach BJ Hance upset the Avalon Lions! This was a great matchup with 2 top 3 teams in my opinion! I would’ve liked to see a little more defense, but I only helped coach BJ with offense! That explains the 90 points on the board!
Speaking of no defense, what is going on over in Wespbrook?! Robert E Lee puts up over 100 points on you?! You know coach Matlock is going to put in a few extra reps on the bench press this week to ease his frustrations! If you needed help, you could’ve just gave me a call!
Gordan upsets May this week, and I know TigerFan69 probably cried himself to sleep that night. I hate it, because I just know this would’ve been a different story had I been able to get down there and help May out this week! I would honestly call the UIL and tell them to investigate coach Reid, because there’s no chance there isn’t any funny business going on there!
Oakwood defeated Three Ways, and the cinderella story ends before it starts. You hate it for Three Ways, but after playing that brutal schedule all season long, you knew those boys would just run out of gas!
Benavides lost a close one to Menard, and that one certainly puzzled me, because I had Benavides winning it all this season! I’m not sure where my prediction went wrong, but I’ll just blame the weather!
But the biggest upset of all was certainly the Borden Milk Company taking out Buena Hasta La Vista! Even I didn’t see that one coming, and I probably have more extensive six man knowledge than anyone on this board!
I’m looking forward to another week of high powered games, and hopefully a lot more upsets!
