LOL RJ my mom hunts that way. Two bucks totaled two of her vehicles. Did the deer tear up your pickup RJ? I hate it cause they get so confused when they're on the side of the road. You try to veer one way and they head that way then you go the other way and they turn around and run that way. My dad took my moms new vehicle to a shop that puts some kind of device on the car to scare deer where they won't run out in front of you. It didn't work.

OFB and Westexas I don't watch Duck Dynasty but a lot of my family does and friends. I know there was some kind of of crap going on because they carried their Bibles into a Court. Could someone tell me what happened? I just got back from my doc's appointment and my nurse called my name 3 times (loud and irratated) and she saw me coming. (I didn't know this elderly lady was being rude) but my nurse got rude right back. I told her when we got behind closed doors didn't she see me coming then she told me what happened. I asked her ok whats going on? Is there something that I need to pray for you? And she says yes. She said she can't afford to get her medicines and that her Blue Cross and Blue Shield that she's had for years won't pay for it. I know the liberals had something to do with with the Duck Dynasty Christian episode. Because we don't watch it I'm lost in what's happening to them. Please let me know.

My goodness Shane that was a very lucky day. To see a gigantic buck and to know how to get him over into your pasture. I can imagine how hard your heart was beating. That day God sent Mr Buck your way and to drop him with one shot and using a bow is fantastic and shows your ability as a hunter. Then on top of that winning a gun case. I'd say this is a hunt you will never forget. He is big and beautiful. Great job. Some hunters would of shot him on the wrong side of the fence but your one of a kind that hunts the way a hunter should hunt.

Oh, I had a couple people say that it wasn't "sporting" because I shot him out of a pickup. Ha! I just laughed. It was about as sporting as any hunt I've ever been on. 70mph....sliding in the gravel.....shooting a buck that was in a dead run..... That was a HECK of a lot more sporting than sitting in a box guarding some corn.

RJ reminded me of another story and all is true that I've told everyone on this thread. My sister and I went to my Uncles Funeral in Brady. It was late coming home and I see a buck. I told her to slow down but she couldn't get to a stop before the buck ran across the road. We hit it and it rolled over the top of her Mustang. We sat in the car for about 5 minutes and I told her lets go see what we've done and maybe get a look at the roof of her car because his horns scraped as he rolled on down. We get out and he's a gigantic buck. I don't know how long we stood there but my sister grabs his horns and we were figuring out how can we get him in her trunk. Dumb neither of us had any kind of licence but we were hungry in our way younger days so we weren't going to leave him on the road. My sister grabs his horns and then all the sudden he stands up and is wilder than a march hair. We had only knocked him out. God was watching out for the two of us. We were so ignorant even thinking about picking him up. We didn't know we could go to jail and that mad buck could of killed one of us. Sit in your car or truck a while longer before going to check out any deer, lol.

Shane anyone who says thats not sporting is dumber than rocks. It's a whole lot easier shooting a deer from a blind than getting one from a truck. Shooting him with a bow and arrow speaks volumes. Then he drops where he was shot. The way you got him into your pasture and keeping up with him is nothing but spectacular.

Man it's here on what the liberals have done to America and my nurse falling apart has me in a depression. I feel so bad for her. I love the Lord with all my heart and I know somehow he will take care of us. But to see what's happened to America and Christians breaks my heart. Before too long our Bibles will be taken away from us as they tried or did to the Duck Dynasty family. I see with my own eyes that America is crumbling and I know the worse is yet to come. We all need to pray. To think that O's new policies have hit you have to know the elderly aren't going to be able to go to their doctors and buy their medicines. I am totally shaking right now, and that's the truth. Back to hunting.

Agree with Flats, A&E is going to lose big time. There are a lot more fans of Phil Robertson than there are queers and their supporters.

Phil Roberson will do just fine. If he gets dropped then another channel will pick them up. I am probably going to get lynched by my comments but the 1st Commandment is to love one another. We don't have to agree with what people do but the Lord God says to love each other. When Jesus died for our sins, he died for everyone that loves him abundantly. We sin everyday, each one of us but our biggest sin is to not love God with all our hearts and soul. Jesus died for our sins. his blood covers our sins. No sin is bigger than another. We don't have to like what others do but we have to love them even though we don't agree with them. Please don't think I'm liberal because I'm not. I just try to do what God wants us to do. We all pay when were doing wrong, but that doesn't mean God doesn't love us. Phil had every right to express his opinion.

DSH is supposed to hunt this weekend. It's supposed to be raining cats and dogs Saturday. Maybe the deer will be moving and a big one comes to eat corn. Shane some people call that not sporting because he has a deer feeder.

I love you OFB. I Love the Lord. I try not to judge anyone because I have so many faults of my own. But I thank God for his mercy, and the fact he died for our sins. His blood covered us for our sins. So if we belong to God we still pay for wrong doing and I don't believe gays are doing what's right in God's eyes but if they belong to God their sins are cover by Jesus blood. That doesn't mean we can do whatever we want because of Gods forgiveness and mercy because we pay for the wrong doings. He still loves us but we reap what we sow. Again I love bunches OFB my dear friend.
