Union Hill is giving up alot of points to some bad teams and ran from Strawn so yea defiantly not sold on them. White Deer might have an easier schedule but to play 5 games and not give up a single point is impressive...tough to do even against lower caliber teams.

I believe Bryson will find their way into the top 5. They scored the most on BC and nearly took out a very solid Milford team only losing by 1.
I also believe White Deer would take Naz out at 5. Come district time, we will find out if WD is the real deal.

I'm curious about your decision to possibly include Abbott as one of the top teams in the East, but not Blum who very nearly 45'd them with a team of underclassmen. To clarify, imo neither of them are top teams but I was wondering what your personal reasoning was for stating that you weren't sold on Abbott but yet no mention of the team that blew them out.

Well not to answer for him but Abbott was 45ed by Calvert early and then went on to win state couple years back. Soooooo I prob wouldnt ever count them out

You aren't legitimately comparing the 2015 Calvert team to this season's Blum team, are you? Abbott may have went on to win state that season, but that Calvert team was elite. This year's Blum team is barely above average yet still blew out Abbott. Until they prove otherwise Abbott is not a top team in the East. But since we're bringing up past seasons to predict this season, here's an interesting tidbit: The last two times that Abbott lost to Blum in the regular season, they were eliminated before the State game.

Wondering why Bryson isn't on the list??? Only losses are to Borden County and Milford

I wasn't trying to say that Blum is a better program than Abbott. I was the center and defensive end on the Blum team that got our butts whooped by Abbott twice in 2015. I was also the center on the Blum teams that beat Abbott three games in a row between 2013-2014. I know how good they were. The center those years, #25 I believe, was the best blocker I ever played against my three years of varsity and Cade Ramsey would flat lay you out if you got the idea that you were going to try to tackle him. I was simply trying to point out the flaw in the logic of the original comment that everyone should watch out for Abbott because last time they got beat badly in the regular season they went on to win state. The past has no bearing on the present. This Abbott team is nowhere near the same as the one in 2015 and it will show come the playoffs. And to clarify, Blum isn't in much better of a position. All three of our star sophomores are currently injured and we'll be lucky if we go into the playoffs healthy, assuming we even make it. Regardless, Blum and Abbott is a great rivalry and it was great finally getting back on the winning side of the rivalry two and a half weeks ago. Good luck and hopefully we meet in the playoffs.

Milford is all hype? Milford has beaten 3 top 10 D1 schools all on the road... and has another big game vs Garden City (#5) in a few weeks. Scheduling the best and beating the best, no hype to it.
Bryson is defenitly a top 5 team in the east. Passing game is 2nd to none with arguably the best QB in sixman right now. Bryson is foreal.

It may look that way from the sidelines, but it sure felt a lot different being on the other side. Reading the play and shedding the block was the easy part. The hard part was wrangling down a Cade Ramsey with a full head of steam. It felt like being hit by a freight train. Or maybe that just speaks of my talent or lack there of lol. Our problem wasn't defense but we just couldn't score. Yall's defense was airtight that year and we couldn't get crap going in either game. Yes district will tell all for whitedeer. Mclean has played alot of same teams not a tough schedule by any means and only given up 6 points all season that was to a good strong paducah team. Happy well they speak for themselves that is definitely a very tough district can't wait to see how it plays out.

I do agree with you about Union Hill, there is no one who will compete with them until the semi final game (VS. MAY).
Borden County will be Happy, there are two coaches out there who Tye Keith can't beat and that's Richey at Borden County and Bret Tyler when he was at Valley.
Yes I know Happy beat Borden County in the basketball semi's but we are talking football
