As of right now, who is the top 5 teams that have the talent to win state?

3. Water Valley

5. Borden County

I think you gotta rank Ira preseason number 1. That team was mostly sophomores last year and they were GOOD.

I can't argue with putting Valley in that group.

I reckon we'll just have to wait until the dust settles to figure that one out but I don't think you can go wrong putting Valley in your Top Five in just about any year. Consistent excellence and perennial contenders.

If the coaching change doesn't hurt them (nothing against the new coach, just wondering if the players can adjust to his program fast enough) Zephyr should make the 3rd round, and possibly the big dance.

After looking at Throckmorton's regular/district schedule, you can pretty much guarantee a 10-0 unless something crazy happens.
