This is why is why i hate divisions

What would you say/do when the UIL increases the number of the split. What if they move from 104.5 to 109.5 or more? Would that not increase the cutoff/ numbers for D2. What happens when the increases enough where D2 schools "can't" compete with other D2 schools? Would you consider a D3 at that point?
I will love 6man football no matter what UIL changes, unless they make it flag football—then im out!! Lol

I don’t think, opinion, that it will ever go above 110. The split between D1 and D2 might move up, maybe 65. This would be great with me. I’m not in favor of a school with 40 kids, 20-25 boys, playing a school with 100 kids, 50-55 boys, in district and playoffs. My opinion and I don’t think I will change. If the UIL wants to add another weekend and play “all classes” D1 against D2 for State Championship, I will be for it.

So, you probably also think that the 2A winner should have to play the 6A winner to see who has the best team? I mean after all, they each put eleven players on the field, and they all put their pants on one leg at a time! ??

Your idea would be about as bad as the 1A winner having to play the 6A winner using their own rules. I don’t think anyone seriously believes what you are saying. You are the one that came up with that. You are just trying to stir, stir, stir.

Northside did have some kids banged up, and played a terrible game but, yeah, losing that game when Richland Springs beat them something like 50-0 told me that there was a clear difference in the divisions, at least back then. I do think that gap is a lot closer right now, especially at the top, but the DI schools are still overall better than the DII schools.
Not sure what team the kid played for or many details, but it was during this Championship game at Shotwell that I seen the hardest hit I personally have ever seen in 6-man football. It was and open field play full speed so it was either a kick return, or int return, etc. anyway the kid was in process of nice run with full out speed when all the sudden he literally got decleated, feet went up in air and head and shoulders the opposite direction. The entire stadium in perfect rhythm let out that oooooowwwww sound. Thought the kids game was over for sure but he jumped up and carried on, he was seeing stars no doubt but tough as a nail to take that hit. Help me out here someone has to remember this happening about midfield and maybe who it was.

Realized the game I’m referring to isn’t clear. Northside/Jayton championship in Abilene 2006.
