Schools That Switched to Six-Man

My source for the 4 years of 11 man was the very site you warned us to be careful of (lonestarfootball.net).
They show the 2005 season to be 3-7. That could very well be wrong.
Lonestar is wrong, they show a 38-16 Evant victory over Santo when the score should be reversed. Evant was 2-8.
So the 4 year total is 17-23. You are correct Leman Saunders.

We played them every year through 92....then the next year (first year after ward left there), they went sixman for one outlaw year. Then they were in put in a district and have been sixman ever since.

Note! I very much appreciate Lonestarfootball.net and am not attempting to put them in a negative light.
They are a favorite site of mine. The Evant/Santo score was probably reported wrong (which isn't that unusual) and may have been corrected later.
The Evant/Prairie Lea score wasn't even reported. Thanks to all who work on that site.
Sixmanfootball.com may be the only record of the Evant/Prairie Lea game. (It wasn't even on Evant's Maxprep pages.(maintained by Evant))
Thanks to Granger and freeagent and all who go above and beyond to get the scores and make sure they are right.

Yes but White Deer has no record in six-man (since 1994 anyway)...this is an analysis of schools that and have played 6man

And I only included records of seasons the school was in a UIL district...outlaw seasons were not included in the numbers I ran...the records may have minor errors because the 2 sources I used, lonestarfootball and past Dave Campbell's information, both can be wrong...it is amazing to me when coaches turn in their record for the previous season to Dave Campbell's that some of them are wrong...reporting going 3-1 in a district that only has 5 teams in it. Also some times forfeits are counted in the records on both resources...look on lonestar at Motley Co for the 2011 season...14-2 record...you can't have a 16 game season...so ya there are things you have to look out for and really need to look at each seasn for each school...that's why I tried to use BOTH sources...my numbers are not perfect but they are pretty close!

And saying it is a "drop down" is an insult to most around here...I always say "moved to 6-man"...and honestly it is usually more of a move up. 64% of schools who have moved to 6man since 1996 have winning records...that's a move up in my book not a drop down

I'd also like to point out that 4 of the 16 schools that have posted a losing record since moving to 6-man have only played 1 season (2012) in Marfa, Nazareth, Rotan, Campbell. So after next season the numbers could change a bit for this group...I expect there will be less with a losing record and the ones that do will have a higher win% than they do this season.

I am working on a comparison for these schools win % in 6man compared to win % in their last 4 seasons of 11man...so stay tuned!

I also think a proper analysis should involve
1. If the schools hired someone with 6-man experiance or had someone on staff that did
2. What districts they were placed in or what regions they are in
