Rumor of a good game

I've heard there's going to be a great game this Thursday in Waco. Dallas Covenant vs. Brenham Christian. Not sure of the time it starts, but i heard their playing at Waco Parkview's field. So if your not to busy this might be a good game to attend this Thursday, i know i'm going to try to be there!
 
I believe there will be a large, reserved section for visiting coaches. Pre-orders of game flim have it at #34 on the Upcoming New DVD releases list ...

Hey coaches, I just wanted to let everyonewe are going to have full concessions. We are going to have a meal deal for $5 (Hamburger, chips, drink and cookie) for everyone. So bring your players and yourselves and come see a wonderful game. You are welcome to bring your own chairs or sit in the stands or stand at the top with your clipboards!!!! We look forward to seeing everyone at the game tomorrow. Everyone be safe in your travels.

Game is on Saturday, right?

Some of those coaches can put away the groceries. I might raise the price for the deal ...

Good, I'll be there. Not only should this be a good game, but if i remember correctly Waco parkview has a beautiful grass field that pops up in the middle of cow pastures, I guess manure is the best fertilizer, huh. Does anyone know if they have finished their press box?
 
Press box is 99% complete, air conditioned, and has lights inside. The field is in immaculate shape. Mowed on Monday night, painted last night and is ready to go. I am working on some football weather, but you know oh that goes. My guess is as good as the man on TV.
 
An Red Baron I know no offense was meant but that football field has had zero manure on it!!!! We take great pride in our field!!! Just had to get that jab in!
 
Yea, I was going to say easy Cowboy 91 I was only kidding! But you must be the one who has to take care of the field, and if that's the case you do a good job at it.
 
Brenhams spread back #7 dominated on both sides of the ball. He has a great surrounding cast especially that big ol boy #26. This game should have been a 45 but when Brenham only needed 1 more TD, covenant kept taking kicks back for touchdowns to bring the spread back to 12.

Well, let me call Edd and Bryan up at the TAPPS office and we'll just all decide to give Brenham the trophy by acclamation.

Sure too bad that they bothered to do all that brackets stuff.

Or we could just play the season anyway, since we've all started.

Because we all know what some daddy in the stands has to say is the gospel truth.
 
In reading a few posts I will consolidate. Last night, Dallas never, ever gave up, my hats off to them. Hard fought game. Guys where coming off in serious pain only to buck up and get back out there. Roy Dawson has to be one of the best athletes to come through Brenham, he ran the field last night and could not be stopped. Dallas could run and block extremely well but just could not stop Brenham from scoring.
To answer the question in another post on this sight.... Brenham has to be one of the best teams in both divisions at this point in the season. So far they have played Allen,Tomball, Summit, and Covenant beating all 4 and having scrimmaged Bracken and Greenville in pre-season, they held there own. Brenham, in my oppinion, is the best team in Tapps II without a doubt.
I am thankful to have been able to watch a hard fought battle last night. The boys did a great job.
