Prefacing this with the admission that I know absolutely nothing about how the ranking & ratings are determined, I will probably be asking a dumb question....... But since that has never stopped me before, here is the interrogative..........
Is there an absolute top number that can be attained in the ratings?

I am speaking for myself only, not Granger's rankings.

On mine, there is not an absolute top number. Their is however an absolute bottom number, and that number is 0. If a team's game results ends up with a result that is less than 0, the numbers automatically adjust all of the rankings up to make the team that is negative back to 0.

So if a team ends up with a -5.62, then ALL teams will get a 5.62 boost, making the bottome team a 0.
