So how do you post an avatar?

In the lower left corner (not far left) is a button called "profile". Click on it.
That will bring you to your profile.
In the middle near the top is another link called User Control Panel
Click on it
This will bring up the control panel.
On the left side, notice the profile link again, click on it
One you click on the second profile link, in the same area notice the "edit avatar" link.
Click on it and you can put one on.
