Never watched him as a kid. We could only get two TV stations (Midland and Odessa) in the GC area in those days, three (Big Spring) if the weather was just right.
Never watched him either. Our main station was 9 out of Abilene, we had to watch the Cowboys with lots of snow on 4 out of Dallas. Lots of hollering back and forth: Got a picture yet? NO, move the antena a little more! If the dish people only knew how terrible our reception is, they could triple the charge and still make the sells.

Wonderful!!! Needed an after lunch grin. Thank ya'll. Especially for the Slam Bang Theater bit. I was up by 7 to eat breakfast with Icky. It beat the red devil out of romper room. But I hated leaving for school before it was over. Seriously (not) this is right up there With the old standby about it being hard to soar with the eagles when you work with a bunch of turkeys... Gimme more, more, more. How about the next frame on that snake picture... Oh yeah, this is a family oriented forum & Bearkat's a moderator...
