Someone said Cooper's in Lllano.....well over the $10 limit.....Lum's in Junction is much, much better bbq....lots more food and lots less money.

Some places I really like:

La Casita in Alpine (chile verde plate)
Mary's in Strawn (CFS...of course)
Sutton County Steakhouse in Sonora
Super Burger in Monahans (Bob Pow burger is greatness)
My Friend's Grill in Crane
Old House Cafe in Iraan
Elena's in McCamey

Very good places.

I prefer the greasy spoon cafes. Most larger restaurants can't match the flavor, price, or atmosphere.

If you're ever in Camp Wood, try Casa Falcon. Good food & reasonable prices. They have a breakfast buffet that is great.
