Jest tryin' to share in the sufferin'

Week two update.

Yew knowd, today iz the first day that I done feel halfway ok. Granted, I iz only barely scratchin' the surface on the deal, but I done think thare iz hope. One troublin' deal though: my hindend muscles iz done sore. Yew wud done think I wuz adoin' that Brazillian Hindend Lift workout, but no, I iz jest doin' the P90X thing.

BTW, that Brazilian Hindend Lift infomercial iz amazin'. I mean, that lil feller can take some gals with plenty of hindend and totally make it into a new hindend. I mean, like half a hindend compared to the original model. If Obama can done git a Nobel Peace Prize, then the lil Brazilian feller ought to too.

BTutherW, I done think I iz goin' to do that one after thiz one.

Goob I wasn't tryin to be-little you or your thread. I've always appreciated your comments.
I guess the thing was, at this point in his ordeal if Pete even grinned just a little when he read it I'd have to say mission accomplished.
I'd have to add that sufferin comes in many forms. It can get ya down. My current bout is small compared to Pete's but at times it was downright uncompfortable.
This last week I been kickin my own butt for not gettin a flu shot this year. Might not have helped but the durned thing is free. No co-pay, just make time to go by and let the nurse prick me. Amongst the sweatin n freezin n tossin n turnin n achin I got to thinkin I've read and heard this stuff does kill people. I used to just tuff it out without a thought. But the age I'm gettin to it got me to thinkin. Might get one of them pumonia shot's too.

I wuzn't takin' it that way. We all done knowd that faheeter iz up against a reel deal here. Yew done hit the nail on the head here. We iz all in the same sinkin' boat in need of someone to done hep uz git to the uther side.

Shoot fire I'd appreciate it, feller like me needs a lot of churching and any good words on the side can do nothing but help. I heard from my mom the good brothers at the Subiaco Abbey, in Subiaco AR, are on board with daily intercessions so I figure good words coming from us common folk might carry as much or more weight than the professionals.

Yew done knowd that we love ole Pete. And we done knowd that Yew done loves ole Pete. So we iz all on the same side here. We done appreciate all the good work them doctors and nurses iz doin' fer him. But Lord, we done need yur touch cuz it makes all the difference. Our prayer iz reel simple: Heal hiz hide. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
 
Well I was just about to post that I wasn’t sure any invocation could get some of us off the hook with the big guy… but I believe ol Goob’s up and done it.
 
Why Goob, I do believe that your little prayer is every bit as effective and moving as the prayers that are coming from the good sisters at Holy Angels Convent in Jonesboro, Ark. Keep up the good work.
 
Just in case you guys are completely devoid of common sense, God does not hear redneck prayers. He sabe's English, but what you guys do to the language is unforgiveable even for the creator of the universe.

EEEXXXCUUUUUSE ME, God hears all prayers and he probably listens more closely to those 'redneck' prayers, God knows we need him!

I iz reelieved, reelieved, reelieved. I wuz worried that yew mite not even believe in the existence of the Almighty, but here yew go and wipe away my worry.

PS--On sabe yew don't need to done use the 's cuz that done indercates a possessive and I ain't reel shure that a verb can be a possessive of anything. But it iz ok cuz most folks screw that up all the time.

It can also mean a plural or, in the case of inproper usage (so uneducated white folk can understand), contractions.

But I'm sure you knew that already.
