RJ and Pop your are exactly right. Our Country is losing it's freedom and your right, some people sit on their tails and don't get out and vote. The problem is the Electorial Votes. It seems no matter how many people vote they get the last say. RJ I believe everything that you posted. With this health insurance it's a done deal. There's not no one fighting the o health care. In all the insurance companies I called all had the o plans. I guess what makes me so mad is that we don't have the freedom to choose what we want. He decides what he wants to do and it's done. It's also done before we even know whats going to happen. Pop I agree with you too. People sit around and decide there will be enough voters so we don't need to vote. They brainwash our kids in College and the kids vote and believe they're Professors are right no matter how much you talk to the kids. I really didn't like Romney but I sure didn't want o back in the office again. RJ I looked up the Libertarian Party and thats how I'm going to vote. The crats and the pubs are downright liars. They say what they think you want to hear, boom you vote for them, then watch the lies come floating out their mouths.

I could post several responses to this that would get me on another NSA list.
 
We do have a historical precedent of an unpopular act becoming law....i.e. the 18th amendment...but the majority of people and law enforcement rejecting it...

Do Healthcare and liquor mix....certainly government and healthcare shouldn't either...
 
Joe...I hope Melani doesn't know what you're meaning...btw it gave more people a say in their government...and there were a few of those who wanted to be heard...
 
the more that the liberals can fraction our movement into different parts the more power they have over us. I don't agree with all conservatives but I do more than with the liberals, but we are killing our voice by making it smaller while they are uniting.. we can argue points and philosophy of each candidate and their morals to death they love it and sit back and see us flounder with a reduced voice and why (its our own fault for not supporting the team)... we all love football and small towns and we know if one player is not for the team an average team that plays together will beat the fractioned team of better than average players...
we need to be united for a common goal to gain control of the congress and the leadership. if we can succeed in this realm we can then address the ones on own team that don't want to conform to the will of the people.
 
KB I understand about car insurance and so forth but how many people carry it? Not too many in Fort Worth and I agree getting out there with out party. I got out and voted and what good did it do? I wanted my voice to be heard. This last election was the fastest election I've seen in my lifetime. We were robbed. I have signed every petition put out here. I do know some didn't matter but was hoping some did. We have no voice. It's all up to the Electoral Colleges. My dog fight in all of this is that we are NOT heard and people are so blind that think we so dumb that we can't take of ourselves. KB I did vote conservative. I have been for years. I voted for John Cain and now he makes me sick to see his face. He turned a new leaf like dogs poop in other peoples yards. I voted for Mitt Romney but I had so bad idea's about him. So it doesn't matter whether you vote liberal or conservative, I don't want to roll with the flow. Whats next? I'm sure it's going to be something that we all don't agree on, but what does it matter, O will have the bill signed before we see it coming. Don't get me wrong insurance is so good to have but what about people who have the chance of getting laid off after every building is built and can't pay the premiums? What's going to happen to them. The middle class is get sucked under. Were the ones having to dish out all the money. It just isn't fair.
 
Pop, Smokey and OFB will you explain the 19th amendment to me. I will look it up but if you could give me your take on it I would appreciate it.
 
Melani,,, I total understand your frustration but we have to pull more and more together if we ever want to have a voice be it very small at least a voice. I vote the same as you and with mcain I also uttered thank God for un answered prayers... people who are becoming more and more reliant on the government are killing America and they do NOT care NOR will they ever. but unless succession is an alternative it will continue down hill till the middle class refuses to pay as a group at all costs. the politicians have only the power we give them. to take it away or modify it though takes us all millions of talking to neighbors friends family to vote as a block and to continue and to not give up but to fight for our freedom from oppression from the enemy within.(domestic). have you ever considered running for office in your town or community? I promise that then you will see how the other-side pilfers with in your own community. we want to be independent ? then we must be united with a purpose... from city hall,,, to the school board, to the county,,, to the state, to the fed....
im glad to see you and others speaking out asking questions... we are our brothers keeper hahaha kinda funny im an only child
 
oh by the way I support women's right to vote,,, they struggle each day to put a meal on the table by working and / or fixing it and understand more and more how those who take more and more in taxes are taking food out of their child's mouth.. all the while giving to those who are able to work and pay their own way
 
KB You are redeemed. I understand. I do get so frustrated because now were trying to save every dime we have for retirement (we don't want our kids taking care of us) and for funeral expenses. I guess the forced word doesn't sit to well with me. Then to see our politicians get up there and talk and you believe they are genuine just to find out they are not. I want them to stand for what they tell us. Thanks for clarifying what you meant. Now just to have faith that we will have some job security so we can pay the new healthcare law.
 
Mel, I was just trying to lighten the thread....... I agree that our country is in serious trouble but sometimes it's ok to inject a little humor in a serious topic............. You can either laugh or cry about circumstances..... I prefer to laugh....................
