I Love Obama

This is a ploy to get more hits (google money) flowing. Lol. Nothing like picking a controversial religious or political stance to get the hits going. Ha

I may be too young to remember JFK, Roosevelt or Lincoln; but I often sit in silence when the Obama bashing starts. I didn't vote for him, either term, but sitting back and watching our country change over the past 16 years, I'm curious why or how the Democratic Party is responsible. I've been a voting Republican since I turned 18 and I supported Romney in his attempt to attain presidency. But sitting back and trying to reflect, honestly and unbiased, I asked mysef what my party has done for me. It's easy to cast a stone from afar, but what has my party done to remedy the situation besides namecall and boo? I tried to think back of the most financially stable times in my life, and it was during the Clinton Administration. I tried to think of my most unstable times and it was during the Bush Administration. I'm not saying Obama, or the Democratic Party, is the best president or Party to walk the halls of the White House. I'm just saying until we fix our own Party, it's kind of ridiculous to ridicule our opposition. It's like going 0-10 on a season and getting 45'd every game; and then saying Calvert sucks because they lost three in a row.

Now, now that's not nice. I may be Canadian but I know a good President when I see one.

Heck, the Canadians actually have a conservative government.

I think the second line of their national anthem is "Drill, Baby, Drill."

We're the stinkin' liberals.

Me thinks topher's has quit growing the hot peppers and has started another agricultural occupation. Pot growing is legal in Canada? Right?

It might be. But growing season in Canada is from August 3 to August 6. Rest of the year, it's frozen.

My dream is that America's government becomes a group of men and women who come togeter and make logical, constitutional based decisions! Not That Dems or Reps won!!

Washington told us to avoid political parties, he was correct. But now, I fear the worst. In America, 99% of the population lives in 1% of the landmass, leaving everybody who doesn't camp in that corrupt little NE corner of the country unspoken for.

So hey, Texans, let's get some ropes and guns, trot up there, take over, and go get Topher afterwards.

I'm afraid of running afoul of anti-spamming rules, so I won't post the website.
But, anybody who does NOT think things are going swimmingly in the "land of the used-to-be-free," and home of the "well-my-GRANDFATHER-was-brave," should investigate the Texas Nationalist Movement. You don't have to agree with everything they say to recognize their basic premise: control of the lives of people of a certain mindset by people of an opposite mindset a thousand miles away might NOT be the best way to run a "country."

In the last 15 years or so I've become apathetic over what I've seen and read. That at the presidental level at least we have become in essence a one party system. No one in the last 50 years has been elected without being a member of or at least the blessing of the CFR. Like the mob of old they usually support both candidates so whoever is elected is beholden to them.
As far as a "worst", in my lifetime at least, it would be hard to put anybody above Tricky Dick. Johnson was despicable. If you want some interesting reading on a little more recent history google Chip Tatum and/or Chip Tatum - Ross Perot.
They are all put on a pedestal by their "fans". They're pretty well all crooked lying puppets.
My apathy is part of the bigger "problem". So few of us excercise our greatest privilege in the "land of the free" and vote.
Then again many in positions of influence on the elections (the really big donners) don't beleive the "rest" of us are qualified to govern ourselves anyway.

I used to worry about becoming apathetic..... Now I just don't care.........

Cuz...

I almost had frito pie for supper tonight.
Almost.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we get back to discussing why Obama is probably the greatest President since JFK?

I was in Vietnam trying to stay alive while Johnson OPENED the HO Chi Mien Trail, i saw my friends die. And that old basta@& was hated by his neighbors, but he was at least a Texan and an American. Nixon ....well the hell with him, Carter ha ha ha, Clinton sorriest excuse for a man sense JFK, 2 Bushes pretty much worthless. But obama would destroy the USA if he could, he is the worst thing ever for the USA. To bad his momma didnt go to Dr Gosnell..

Dude, I think your barkin' up the wrong tree here. This web site is about 6 man football in Texas (Newby not withstanding). Texas is and has been a deeply red state for the last 20 years. You won't find much support for that statement here.
Most of the citizens of the Great State want to keep our guns, and buy new ones without gov't interference. While a lot on here don't want to loose social security or medicare Obama Care has not yet been fully implemented and it's place in history is unknown. Granted, unemployment is down a little from what he inherited. The economy is a little better than what he inherited. But that deficit keeps climbing from the surplus W inherited. You'll not get much sympathy here, without specific examples, then still not much.

You'd be better off trying to convince them LHO was not a lone nut 50 years ago as the Dallas mayor's wife (Mrs. CABBELL) said.

Thank You Sir for your service in a War where not many were appreciated upon their return Home. I did not serve as a couple of cousins did but still have my draft card from 74' as it was winding down ( I didn't burn it).
Once had a manager tell me He Served in the Navy as an NCO and this was not a War but a Police Action. I had to bite my tongue.
Tell that to the men on the ground and in the air.
