Hell it's hard to argue their strength of schedule when they open the season with Candelaria!

Now hold on there Candelaria is returning everyone that wasn't there last year. And I watched them scrimmaged Shafter, game was called early in the first quarter, ref noticed the football was actually a dead armadillo .

That armadillo was their 7th man...

You forget that Candelaria's legendary coach Chito Mendarez moved his family to Lajitas after 'being called personally by Mayor Clay Henry IV'. Mayor Henry recruited Mendarez to try and keep him from 'losing his marbles' like his predecessor.

I know you get very little info on private schools......but do you figure in who beats who?
Fredericksburg was beat by Castle hills by 14, CH also beat OLH who beat Seguin by 16 and they both are above Castle hills.

No, I don't. It's a numbers calculation. It's a simple numbers calculation based on spread and scores. Obviously CH started way too low, and like you said, i don't get much info on private schools. If they are as good as you say (and i wouldn't know one way or the other) it will correct itself.

Let me help you save time, write teams on the side of the barn, then back up 50' , for "top ten" throw darts right handed after that switch to left hand then under hand,then one eye closed etc... Shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. So Fajita Pete picks vanished and now the horn.

I think everybody should have their own ranking system...... Basically "my team is better than everbody else's ". I still think the best rankings come out the Monday after the finals. Who cares if number 165 moves up other than the team ranked 165?
