gotta factor in WB’s experience in the big game. Talent for talent is one thing but that type of experience is priceless. They’ve been there two years in a row. They played a team they were picked to lose too. They dominated the next. I’m not saying Gordon can’t win but to think they will smash WB is a little overboard. Provided they both make it. Still some football to play and anything can happen. Just ask Abbott

I was fixing to say the same thing. I will give credit to Gordon on tonight’s win but to start sizing for their gold rings might be taking it a little to far to quick.

And they’re still a young team, I believe. Best I can remember they were mostly freshman, maybe a couple sophomores, last year when Abbott knocked them out in this same round. They’ll be a force next year, probably next few years, if that is the case.

And that’s the scary part I’ve been talking about since last season. As a May guy that’s disturbing lol. We are in same boat sophomore heavy but injuries have plagued us all year.

Congratulations to the Gordon Longhorns and Coach Mike Reed. Only 1 of 3 coaches that I know have taken teams from 2 or more scbools to the state championship. Coach Vance Jones an Nathan Hayes are the other 2.
