What kind of defense Is best for a slower, but athletic team going against a couple of speedsters? How does a team negate the speed of an opponent?

Figure that one out and you will be worth your weight in gold.

4-2 if they're in tight, but you'll need your outside linemen and linebackers to fill the holes well. The defensive ends have outside contain, but they can't shoot up the field and allow a huge cut-back lane. Linebackers must read pass, and react to the run. I'm not in much of a position to help; cause we've been torched by quick teams. However, the defense works; your defense just has to play their responsibilities.

I love coachsatch's responses.

Actually,
IMHO,
the ONLY way to negate the speed of your opponent
is to have speedier players on your team.
Don't the high scores we love in 6man
come from having the speediest players?
Yes.
Yes they do.

(I thought about saying something about Crowell but...)
