Depression time

I am depressed as usual when the season is over. More so now because of the realignment. Trying to look forward but not too excited. Another depressing thing is 2012 Hico , seems like Garden City, Follett, and Throckmorton are all opting out. Heat related I am told.

Will there be a game
anywhere in the whole state
that isn't hot that time of year?

CowboyP, can't have you depressed, let's me and you talk about my Rochelle Hornets six-man State Championship runs. We have one every year.

Watch out!! The Water Valley Dynasty talk might start again.......

And a good morning to you, this is KRLD Dallas, looking at the weather, last nights low was a balmy 92 degrees... expecting the heat index of 138 in Waxahachi by late afternoon < only happens in Texas >

We don't want that!
Bring it!
Maybe Coach Burkhart & the RS players will move to WV. Do you think that'll help the dynasty?

That should pretty much cinch it.

P.S.- I hope I'm not lumped in with all those trendy pirates.
jus sayin'.

A few of the bowl games were exciting to watch. The NFL end of season had little drama, the playoff's a couple of good games (Denver-Pitt, SF-NO) but that's almost over too. All that eases withdrawal from 6m hs. But compounding depression this time of year are the short days, dark an hour after work. Normally the cold, staying in the house so much. Then many of us if not in debt or broke spent too much on Christmas. The real kicker for me though are property taxes due 2/1 (without a penalty). Kind of a beans/hot dog's/bologna month. No venison, can't afford a hunting lease.

I've got some wild hog meat you can have if you can afford the gas to get here. :)

I don't know any landowners
who won't let you come out one night
and shoot a buncha hogs.
Ask around!
Drive some dirt roads?

Them boys that drive the green pick-ups with the state seal on the doors may frown upon the dirt road hunting.
